Players had heard of Outland before, and many of its leading characters were old faces. WoW had a huge catalogue of lore to fall back on, so it would be almost a decade before Blizzard had to start coming up with new concepts from scratch. BC truly offered every kind of experience, and it was clear that a lot of thought had been put into making it as alien as possible. But by far the most popular new area was Nagrand, a relative paradise with floating islands and calm music.
